Lantern & Spine is built for thoughtful literary participation. Readers may disagree, question, interpret, and challenge. They may not harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, deliberately humiliate, or expose another reader.
Prohibited conduct includes hate speech, stalking, doxxing, sexual harassment, spam, piracy, plagiarism, review manipulation, coordinated harassment, unauthorized recording of private gatherings, sharing restricted event links, and repeated unsolicited promotion.
Respect visibility boundaries. Private journal entries and private contributions are not material for redistribution. Member-only material should not be republished outside its intended audience without permission. Public contributions may be quoted or shared by other people, so publish thoughtfully.
Lantern & Spine provides reporting, blocking, muting, and Founder moderation in supported Society areas. It may warn, decline, remove, restrict, or end participation when necessary to protect readers, rights, or the institution. Editorial selection decisions are not subject to a public appeal process.
